GIRLS NIGHT OUT at GEORGIA TECH

Get to know Georgia Tech. Come spend time with GT students, attend an actual class, stay overnight in a residence hall with a student host, and experience the campus facilities. The Girls Night Out at Georgia Tech (GNO @ GT) overnight visitation program offers all of these opportunities, and more for exceptional prospective women students.

Who is invited?

This program is for exceptional women in 11th grade (prior to May 1st) who are interested in Georgia Tech. Attendance at Girls Night Out at Georgia Tech is limited to women students having a PSAT (Verbal + Math) score of 120 and above or an SAT (Verbal + Math) score of 1200. All attendees should have a high school GPA of at least 3.0.

Girls Night Out Registration is now closed.

The Program

This program is held once a year in the summer, and it hosts approximately 75 students plus their parents. Separate but concurrent programs are provided for parents and women students to permit each group to concentrate on the items in which they are most interested. Through information sessions, panel discussions, question-and-answer sessions, campus tours, meals, and social events, students and parents are given an opportunity to interact with faculty, administrators, and current students. Topics such as academics, financial aid, campus activities, co-op education, admissions, and other areas of interest to the college-seeker are covered in detail, each offering a time for questions.

Program Information:

  • June 22-23, 2008
  • Advanced reservations are required ten days prior to the event.
  • A late fee of $10 will be charged at check-in for those who register fewer than five working days prior to the program.
  • Information for Girls Night Out will be mailed to qualified students early March.
